A Nutrition Series with Darren Burke

Join Darren Burke, Certified Nutritionist, for an educational lecture series that will highlight simple and effective ways to clean up your eating habits. You’ll learn about what foods are in season and recipes that incorporate those foods!

September 26th – 6:30 PM: 7 tips for Getting Your Diet Back on Track

  • Did you create some bad habits this Summer? Too much take out, ice cream or alcohol? The café will be preparing healthy and easy snack recipes that you and your kids will love this new school year!

October 24th – 6:30 PM: Craft Beer and “Healthy” Candy Pairing

  • Don’t knock it ’till you try it! Join Darren as he pairs different seasonal craft beers with “healthier” versions of you traditional Halloween treats!

November 21st – 6:30 PM: Stress-Free Thanksgiving

  • Stay on track with these guilt free dishes! The café will be preparing healthy side dish alternatives to the classics with recipes for you to take home.

December 19th – 6:30 PM: Wine and Cheese Party!

  • Happy Holidays! Time for wine – but which one is best? Conventional wine? Organic wine? Biodynamic wine? Red? White? Rose? Sample different wines, cheeses and other foods that are great for holiday parties or enjoying at home!
