One of my favorite things about helping people improve their lives by adding CBD is the feedback I receive from clients. Two weeks ago a woman in her 50’s came in and explained to me how she suffers from debilitating migraines at least 3 times a week. She has seen a slew of medical professionals, being treated with pharmaceuticals and Botox with no real results. She was desperate and was willing to try anything. After her free consultation we decided upon a starting point 500 mg CO 2 extracted full spectrum CBD from North East Kingdom Hemp, a small batch family Hemp Farm in Vermont.
She came back yesterday JOYOUS, beaming that she has not had a migraine in 10 days !!! ” That was the best 64 dollars I have ever spent!” She said CBD and me are her new best friends!

This is just one of the amazing testimonials we have heard over the last year since we opened our store:
My lower arm and hand have been inflamed and swollen for 6 weeks. Most of the joints in my hand and wrist were soar and I could barely perform my job. I’d been seeing a physical therapist and a massage therapist regularly with no real results. My massage therapist suggested I go to Angel Wings Wellness and ask about topicals, after all they offer free samples, what do I have to lose. I tried a couple different topicals and was given a sample to take home a re apply later. What a surprise I had the next morning! No more pain no more swelling! I immediately went back to the shop and purchased a jar of this amazing topical! I told the shop owner, I don’t know what is in this stuff but it should be called The Miracle Cream!
I highly recommend anyone who has any joint pain, swelling or muscle aches to visit Angel Wings Wellness and get a free sample, you won’t regret it!

Do you or someone you know want to quit smoking cigarettes? An effective alternative to transition off of smoking is replacing cigarettes with Hemp Flower! We have Organically Grown Artisan Hemp Flower. Vermont Grown! We have helped several clients become former smokers! Oh and by the way, smoking hemp makes u happy too!
Hemp is a type of very, very low THC Cannabis that is used to make CBD products. Hemp flower from Northeast Kingdom Hemp is organically grown, is less harsh than a cigarette, I suggest it is less dangerous than a cigarette and most importantly, still provides the ‘smoking experience’ that’s become habitual and smokers have come to enjoy. If you’ve ‘tried everything else…..’give it a try!
One of my favorite properties about CBD is it’s anti-inflammatory effect on the body. While inflammation is apart of the body’s immune response, it isn’t always perfect. It can be beneficial when, for example, your knee sustains a blow and tissues need care and protection. However, sometimes, inflammation can persist longer than necessary, causing more harm than benefit. People with chronic inflammation are susceptible to asthma, tuberculosis, arthritis, Chrones, various types of cancer, and in some cases Alzheimer’s. Additionally, our environment can be causing inflammation in ways we don’t even realize. Are you eating an all organic diet? Are you breathing in factory fumes or car exhaust on a daily basis? Do you drink a lot of soda? Because of these exposures, inflammation is likely running rampant in your body, and more importantly, your brain. Luckily for us, CBD can counteract this effect.
We have a variety of pain management topicals available for you to sample for free.
CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring compound found in cannabis and hemp plants. As well as CBD, the Cannabis plant contains between 70- 100 other cannabinoids. CBD interacts with your body through your endocannabinoid system (ECS) the vast system that controls your body’s general state of balance or homeostasis. The ECS regulates everything from mood, memory, the immune system, pain signaling and inflammatory response. CBD has shown to help support functions such as appetite, mood, immune response, pain, sleep and many many more. By supporting your ECS through CBD, we are returning our bodies back to it’s optimal state.

We tend to get a lot of questions regarding the most effective way to manage pain. Is a topical treatment better than supplementing with the oil? Is there a certain amount I should be using? How long will it take to kick in?
Firstly we would like to note that the best way to treat pain is typically by attacking it from both sides (an external application as well as an internal application). This can be achieved by pairing a low to moderate dose of oil under the tongue in addition to applying a pain cream to the affected area. The benefits of using both oil and cream is that you will need much less of each product to achieve pain relief. Additionally, when using the oil, it enhances the effect of the topical treatment so as to make it more potent, and last much longer.
That being said, it is possible to achieve positive results by simply supplementing one or the other (the oil or the cream). The rule of thumb here is that a topical treatment will be more effective in the extremities, such as the hands, wrists, feet, knees, neck and shoulders. Alternatively, a pain cream will be less effective for pain management in the core of the body, such as the chest, gut, back, and pelvis. Therefore, for the core, supplementing the oil under the tongue would be most effective. When using just one of these methods, it is important to remember that the CBD may need to build up in your system for a few days before you start to feel relief. This means that consistency in dosing is key. Start with a moderate amount, and work your way down.

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that depression effects 300 million or more than 4% of us, making it the planets #1 source of disability. And that count it probably significantly understated given the stigma surrounding this illness. As with anxiety disorders, CBD has become a source of hope.
Recent research points to some potentially anti-depressant effects of the compound- and a link between depression and low endocannabinoid levels. One study showed that CBD can boost levels of the body’s natural “bliss” molecule anadamide. Another connected CBD to higher levels of serotonin in the brain; this enzyme is known to have an anti-depressant effect. Others have suggested positive impacts to mood-improving processes in the hippocampus, and to CBD’s value in reducing neuron damage and brain inflammation.
In addition to clinical trials, anecdotal evidence suggests that CBD can be effective either in conjunction with or in place of traditional anti-depressant treatment. A survey of 2400 HelloMD community members, for instance, found that 80% of those polled found CBD extremely effective at treating their illness and 42% stopped using traditional medicines in favor of using CBD. While this data is promising, it can’t be taken as anything close to proof. Depression is an extremely complex illness, and more research is needed.

Researchers discovered that the endocannabinoid system plays a role in maintaining certain body functions, such as mood, appetite, sleep, and regulating circadian rhythms. Within the endocannabinoid system is a network of cannabinoid receptors in the brain and central nervous system. The two primary receptors identified are CB1 and CB2.
Cannabinoids attach to these cells and have various effects. As far as how they may affect sleep, some research indicates that the cannabinoid CBD may interact with specific receptors, potentially affecting the sleep/wake cycle.
Additionally, CBD may also decrease anxiety and pain, which can both interfere with restful sleep. By reducing certain symptoms, it’s also possible that sleep may improve.

They have high hopes for a coronavirus breakthrough.
A team of Canadian scientists believes it has found strong strains of cannabis that could help prevent or treat coronavirus infections, according to interviews and a study.
Researchers from the University of Lethbridge said a study in April showed at least 13 cannabis plants were high in CBD that appeared to affect the ACE2 pathways that the bug uses to access the body.
“We were totally stunned at first, and then we were really happy,” one of the researchers, Olga Kovalchuk, told CTV News.
