Free Streaming Nia and Restorative Yoga Classes via Zoom with Linda for the Week of Aug. 2nd New time Thurs. Nia class 10am and new Moving to Heal class Thurs. 11:15am
Come join us as we celebrate great American composer, Leonard Bernstein and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Great songs and lyrics that still apply to issues of today. Unusual rythyms and contemporary takes on the original score.
New time for Thursday Nia Class-10 am. And new class addition, Moving to Heal at 11:15 am. Moving to Heal Nia is a slower, less intensive class with less standing and more done in the chair. Great for people with injuries or conditions that make it hard to participate in a classic Nia class. Also good for people getting back into exercise. For more info on Moving to Heal, see the info and videos on my web site or click here
For Restorative Yoga, find some cushions, large books, yoga blocks, blankets, whatever you can use instead of bolsters and blocks. We make it work. For more information on Restorative yoga, check out my site, niawithlinda.com. It is a lovely passive practice that gives the participant relaxation and calm. Who couldn’t use that right now.

If you are new to Nia and Restorative Yoga with Linda, these streaming classes are free. Share with anyone who you feel needs a little movement or peace in their lives during this period of social isolation.
So here is how it works. It will be easier for you if you download the Zoom client for meetings for a desktop or laptop, or the app for phones and tablets.

| The summer we have all been waiting for is here! This has been an amazing summer! Our camps are full of happy campers exploring new things like adventure courses, STEAM programs, paddleboarding, sailing, kayaking and more. Being outside, having fun and reengaging with friends was just what they needed. Our pools are filled with smiling swimmers learning the life skill of water safety and our wellness centers continue to be the essential places where members can safely stay active, healthy and connected. We have met so many new families through our community outreach over the past year while we provided remote learning opportunities, emergency childcare, and other crucial resources during the pandemic. We have been able to engage more individuals, children, and families and welcome them into our Y community. More than ever before, we are clearly seen as more than our fitness centers, pools and programs. We are recognized as a critical resource for all in good times and in bad. Your local Y is here to strengthen the community and meet vital needs. We will never forget what it took to reopen responsibly so rest assured our staff is committed to your safety. We are vigilant in our efforts to keep our facilities clean and safe and dedicated to making your Y experience the best it can be. We are truly all in this together. Thank you for supporting our Y and for being part of our Y family. |
