  • Health Improvement – Stress and Pain Management, Better Blood Pressure

My Personal and Professional Use of Hypnosis. I have been using self-hypnosis personally for over 30 years, successfully stopping smoking and overcoming public speaking anxiety. While there are no guarantees, as the Clinical Hypnotherapist (2000-2011) for North Shore Medical Center’s Wellness & Integrative Therapies and in my private practice, hundreds of people reported being helped by their sessions.

Thanks Karen. I did it!  — Ellen B. Beverly MA

As they say …, “the sky’s the limit!” One of my favorite sessions was helping this woman overcome a fear of heights to ride with her husband in a hot air balloon. It’s never too late – My oldest client stopped smoking at the age of 85. My youngest client at 10, found self-hypnosis helpful to reduce stress. Many clients I see are teens and young adults, making the transition from high school to college. Others, adults wanting to change negative habits and behaviors or improve their health in some way. When it comes to making positive changes, recognizing a need for change and wanting to make change are often the most important factors.

Wishing You the Best in Health,  Karen

  1. Thanks for sharing the post Joey! These lectures are always fun for me, because people have a lot of questions and I am able to clarify the ‘myths and misconceptions’ of hypnosis. Promoting Sound Sleep is another use for hypnosis. Join us Wednesday if you can.
