Nurses – Be Sure to Love and Take Care of Your SELF This Nurse’s Week!
Case Managers, Nurses, Nursing Students, CNA’s – For life-work balance and avoiding burnout, the most important lessons I learned have been to make time for vacations and learn self-care tools for daily relaxation and stress management. Self-hypnosis, meditation, mindfulness, reiki, tai-chi, and yoga are all helpful modalities that can be learned and practiced on your own or in a group.
Monthly Community Reiki Shares/Clinics and First Degree Reiki Training (CEU’s for Nurses, Case Managers and Social Workers) – Helpful ways to take care of yourself! When you take care of yourself first, you have more to offer to those you love.
Loving Others Begins With Loving Yourself. Self-Love Begins with Self-Care.

Celebrating Nurses Week. I have had a very satisfying 40-year career in healthcare, with 35 years as a Registered Nurse. ‘Traveling Nursing’ led me around the country and to Boston, where I met my husband, eventually making our home on Cape Ann. I highly recommend nursing as a career path and am happy to talk to anyone interested in this field!
What do I love about nursing? It is intellectually challenging, exciting, people and service-oriented, creative, varied, interesting, and satisfying on many levels. From Critical Care to Integrative Healthcare. What a journey it has been.
“Do What You Love. Love What You Do.”
Today I am Also Celebrating 19 Years in Business as ‘Dreamtime Wellness.’
Client Testimonials. Hearing people relate “sleeping better,” “feeling better” is my greatest reward. A letter recently came from a woman reporting “16 years smoke-free,” after one hypnosis session.” Cynthia Z. continues to enjoy quality time with her grandchildren.
Thank You All, for your support!
‘Thank You’ – With too many to personally thank over the course of nearly four decades in healthcare and nearly two decades in business, I would like to thank my many teachers, mentors, family, friends, colleagues, and those clients and students that have put and continue to place their trust in me and my services. And especially to my mother, who shared inspirational quotes and dream catchers, and encouraged me to follow my dreams.
Best in Health,
Karen
