Stress Relief Techniques
Let’s face it, most of us are running around, stressed out, with a “to do” list that doesn’t seem to get shorter…leading to feelings of overwhelm and anxiety….aaarrrhhh.
The good news is – there is relief!
In this workshop you will learn Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT also known as Tapping) which is an amazing, easy and effective tool with zero side effects. We’ll also explore some other simple meditation techniques to promote calm!
EFT involves tapping on acupressure points which in itself is soothing. It combines focusing on a mental, emotional or physical area of concern while gently tapping on specific acupressure points. As you tap, you literally reduce the stress hormone, cortisol, in your body. The sequence helps release blockages within the energy system and helps restore balance. It is also easy to practice at home and can be used for a wide variety of things. It is the most widely used modality in the field of energy psychology.

Full Moon Restorative Sound Healing

What is it all about, how does it work? Well, think about it for a moment. How some songs can immediately bring up a memory or feeling of a person, time in life, place…Sometimes it is just one note that triggers a response. How amazing!
But what is so special about singing bowls, gongs, the voice when used appropriately? They vibrate at certain frequencies, some are perfectly tuned, some not, they create other harmonics but all making a “good sound”. Everything including our organs, cellular structure have a frequency so when you sound various bowls and gongs they are resonating at these various frequencies.
Why does it work so well in our bodies? The spinal column and brain are surrounded by the cerebrial spinal fluid. We are made up of 70% water/fluids which is an excellent conduit of sound. Plus our skin and bones absorb sound.
