Since childhood, I have been inspired by nature to photograph scenes that evoke an emotional response and sense of awe of the world around me. Especially drawn to the sky, I am aware of the conflicting and essential beauty of storms and sunshine which often result in beautiful cloud formations and even rainbows. Sunrises and sunsets are my favorite photography subjects due not only to their stunning beauty, but also their uniqueness. Like snowflakes, no two are alike. Sunrise and sunset are also perfect times to pause, reflect, contemplate and express gratitude for the ‘gift’ of each day. I hope you enjoy the sense of awe I experience in nature each day.
Cape Ann has long been a draw for artists, poets and writers. The unique light, granite outcroppings and reflective water lend to amazing sunrise and sunset photography.
‘Annisquam Delight’ (Annisquam River, Gloucester MA) sold in its first entry at the Rocky Neck Cultural Center, was in the 2017 fall juried art show at the Newburyport Art Association (NAA) and is currently at the NAA Holiday Art Show.

Living on Cape Ann, I feel blessed and grateful for the natural beauty I am surrounded by daily.
