This month’s Reiki Share/Clinic proceeds benefit Toots Fore Tufts and the Marc Jackson Foundation Neuro-oncology Patient Support Fund at Tufts Medical Center, providing programs that support neuro-oncology (brain cancer) and other patients undergoing treatment for cancer and their families, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA

100% of net proceeds from Tuesday’s Reiki Share will go directly to Toots Fore Tufts.

Monthly ‘Community Reiki Shares’ are offered ‘First Tuesdays.’ Enjoy a Reiki Session while supporting charitable organizations. Portion of monthly proceeds benefit charities, local and abroad. Contact us if you have a charitable organization or fundraiser and would like to partner with us! 

Schedule: 5:30 pm – Meditation, Japanese mawashi (circle) and Komyo open reiju (attunement.) Come enjoy a meditation and cup of tea, or Pre-register for a session of Reiki between 6 and 8 pm to guarantee your space. Attend part or the entire evening.

Healthy snacks and tea are available. You don’t have to be a Reiki practitioner to join in. Those attending often comment on “how welcomed” and “relaxed” they feel, and how much they “enjoy the peace” of the evening. Some express “relief of pain” and “improved comfort.”

Offering Reiki Therapy in hospitals helps support patients’ physical and emotional needs. (1) More study is needed, but in preliminary studies ‘there is evidence to suggest that Reiki therapy may be effective for pain and anxiety.” (2)

Reiki sessions are intended as adjunctive, supportive care and are not meant to be used ‘in place of” conventional medical care. If you are having medical issues, do not delay treatment. An accurate diagnosis is important for ‘best care’ and ‘best outcomes.’ for For safe, collaborative care, report the use of all complementary therapies, herbs and supplements to physician. Some complementary therapies, supplements, herbal and over-the-counter products may negatively interfere with your care; discuss use of these with your doctor.

~ Community Reiki Share/Clinic Celebrating 18 Years ~

Longest Running Reiki Clinic/Share on Cape Ann and North of Boston.  This Community Reiki Clinic/Share has been in existence since 2000 when it began at the Addison Gilbert Hospital. In 2004 we moved to Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. In 2014 we moved to the Manchester Community Center, partnering with charitable organizations offering donations as part of our community service.

Teaching Reiki in the traditional apprentice-style of Japan, this Reiki Share/Clinic is also a venue for my students to fulfill practicum requirements as they increase their confidence and expertise.

Seasoned Reiki Practitioners gather here for the sense of community, learning opportunity, and session of reiki, with many attending for more than 7 years.

Affordable Chair Reiki Sessions are also available monthly at the Rose Baker Senior Center  (3rd Fridays) for a Nominal Fee – $5.00.
