Outdoor Yoga Classes with Treetop Yoga

Let's Flow Outside

While Treetop Yoga remains a virtual studio with an updated summer schedule, we have added outdoor yoga classes 5 days per week. Practicing outdoors allows for the opportunity to truly appreciate where we live and to once again flow next to others from the community after a long spring on Zoom. Participants are required to sign up on our schedule in advance since spaces are limited due to social distancing. All you need is a yoga mat or beach towel and a bottle of water. An all level class and everyBODY welcome!

Classes are all 7:00-8:00 AM so you can start your day on the mat without getting too heated from the summer sun.

Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays: Rocky Neck Causeway Park

Wednesdays: Stacy Boulevard in front of the tennis courts near the entrance to Stage Fort Park

Fridays: Plum Cove Beach

TREETOP SCHEDULE Check out all our outdoor and virtual options for yoga and barre. New Student Special: $30 for two weeks of unlimited yoga and barre classes. Stayed tuned for our grand re-opening as part of Phase III.

For Restorative Yoga, find some cushions, large books, yoga blocks, blankets, whatever you can use instead of bolsters and blocks.  We make it work.  For more information on Restorative yoga, check out my site, niawithlinda.com.  It is a lovely passive practice that gives the participant relaxation and calm. Who couldn’t use that right now.

Scientists Believe Cannabis Could Help Prevent and Treat Corona Virus

They have high hopes for a coronavirus breakthrough.

A team of Canadian scientists believes it has found strong strains of cannabis that could help prevent or treat coronavirus infections, according to interviews and a study.

Researchers from the University of Lethbridge said a study in April showed at least 13 cannabis plants were high in CBD that appeared to affect the ACE2 pathways that the bug uses to access the body.

“We were totally stunned at first, and then we were really happy,” one of the researchers, Olga Kovalchuk, told CTV News.

Angel Wings Wellness-Take care of your Endocannabinoid system and it will take care of you!

Our bodies consist of many unique physiologic systems whose sole purpose is to maintain an internal balance called homeostasis. We know the pancreas releases insulin to balance glucose levels between the bloodstream and cells. The thyroid gland releases thyroid hormone, which regulates vital bodily functions related to metabolism, body temperature and much more. Simply put, our bodies are working constantly to stay balanced in response to our external environment.

In the quest to understand how THC causes its well-known intoxicating effects, scientists discovered that we have yet another regulatory physiologic system, called the endocannabinoid system or ECS, whose role is to maintain homeostasis of the messages sent between our cells. Further research has shown that sickness, inflammation, and injury will trigger the ECS to take action, working to reset our internal environment back to homeostasis. This system has been described as being protective and necessary for life. What if we could target this system to prevent illness and maintain better health? Adding high quality CBD may help get you there!

We are open Friday, Saturday 11:00-4:00 pm or call/text 978-985-4592 for private appointment or phone consultation!

How CBD Oil May Help You With Arthritis Pain.

Come visit us 12 Rogers Street!

How CBD Oil Works

According to Medical News Today, the body’s endocannabinoid system has two cannabinoid receptors: CB1 and CB2.

A majority of CB1 receptors are located in the brain and are associated with cognitive actions related to coordination, mood, thinking, memory, and appetite. The CB2 receptors, on the other hand, can be found in the immune system. This makes them more responsible for the body’s response to pain and inflammation.

Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, attaches to the CB1 receptors, which explains why smoking or otherwise ingesting marijuana affects users on a cognitive level.

However, CBD impacts the CB2 receptors. And it does so indirectly, not by attaching to the CB2 receptor, but by enticing the body to make more of its own cannabinoids. This creates a positive effect on the body’s pain and inflammation responses and may help with Arthritis and Joint pain.

We at Angel Wings Wellness invite you to stop by and pick-up a FREE SAMPLE of pain topical. The combination of taking CBD oil sublingually and topically may help you live a better life!

Pineapple ~

Pineapple ~

Ayurveda and Pineapple….

Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC loves the powerful digestive enzymes found in Pineapple such as bromelian. Eat this wonderful fruit to help enhance sluggish or weak digestion.

Pineapple is useful in both indigestion and loss of appetite. It’s juicyness hydrates you as well! Pineapple clears heat and replenishes your strength, energy levels and is helpful with diarrhea, bronchitis, sinusitis and arthritis.

Use Pineapple with any meal….layer slices on ham prior to baking, pineapple grilled skewers, on top of a burger or chicken sandwich, add to your salsa or guacamole – the digestive properties of pineapple combine well with many foods. But DON’T mix pineapple with dairy or yogurt as this combination clogs the channels.
