Colors to keep you cool~
Cooling colors for summer…
Summer is the season of fire, and there is an increased tendency for arguments, yelling, and getting angry. It is better not to discuss any serious topics during the hot hours of the day, or during very hot days. If you need to make important decisions, do it in the morning or evening when it’s cool.
Dress in cotton (or silk) clothes, and as much as possible avoid colors like red, orange, yellow, and black. Gentle and mild colors help one to stay cool, especially blue, white, green, and purple. After dressing, you can do your worship or meditation practice if it is part of your routine.
Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC go to summer color is white…what’s your go to summer color to keep your cool?

Dreamtime Wellness™ Launches New Logo & On-line Store

Promoting Optimal Wellness for Mind, Body and Spirit
Gifts Certificates and Generic Self-Hypnosis Recordings (CDs and MP3s) – NOW AVAILABLE at our secure, on-line store.
Relaxation, Meditation and Hypnosis – People have been asking for recordings of my guided meditation and hypnosis sessions for many years.
Offering hypnosis/hypnotherapy/guided meditation since 2000. I was often asked for a ‘recording.’ Over the past 7 years we have been producing and testing our generic recordings. Based on hundreds of individual client responses and their feedback, we have found them to be safe, effective, when used as directed. Ready to Launch!
Self-Care Tools – these recordings are intended as self-care tools and adjunctive (supportive) aids in collaboration with your conventional medical care. Feel free to contact us with any questions, prior to or after purchase of any of these products.
Generic recordings offer more accessibility and affordability. Not everyone can afford a one-on-one private session. Not everyone will be able to travel to see me in person.
By offering these recordings on-line I am hoping to bring the benefits of relaxation and positive, healthy lifestyle changes to more people around the globe.
Our On-line Store Launched on Summer Solstice. The First Day of Summer seemed a great time to launch products that help promote change.
“Using your guided personal meditation tape has provided me much peace and relaxation as I have journeyed through my medical complications. It has helped ease anxiety, minimize medication withdrawal symptoms, and promote sleep. I have used what I have learned to be more mindful in the moment.” ~ Nancy S.M. Buffalo, NY
In addition, on the day of the Summer Solstice this review and testimonial was posted on Facebook, prompting me to finally make the on-line store a reality:
Client Testimonial – “Using a guided personal mediation tape made for me by Karen has provided me much peace and relaxation as I have journeyed through my medical complications. It has helped ease anxiety, minimize medication withdrawal symptoms, and promote sleep. I have used what I have learned to be more mindful in the moment.” ~ Nancy S.M. Tonawonda, NY

Note: Consult your physician prior to using relaxation, meditation or hypnosis recordings. While relaxation, meditation and hypnosis are generally safe, there are some precautions.
Thank you to multi-talented Diana Whitten of Gloucester MA for the design of the new logo for Dreamtime Wellness™ LLC.

Leafy Greens ~
It is leafy green season so lets take a look through the lens of Ayurveda the best way to prepare for our digestion…
The preferred Ayurvedic method for cooking vegetables is to sauté them in ghee or steam in a little water. Adding salt at the beginning reduces the cooking time. Excess raw vegetables are not advised as they are heavy and hard to digest! Raw food is better in Summer, or at lunch time when digestion is strongest.
Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC loves dark green leafy vegetables cooked using the following method:
Toast 2 tbsp. sesame seeds until slightly golden.
Stir fry 4 cups chopped green leafy vegetables with 2 chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp.chopped ginger.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and salt if desired.
Serve and enjoy!

High Noon ~
We are what we digest, not what we eat.
Do you eat your biggest meal of the day at lunch between 12 noon and 2:00pm? No?
Through the lens of Ayurveda our digestive fire is the strongest and is working at it’s maximum potency. As the sun begins to go down so does our agni (digestive fire)
So start today by eating lunch between 12 noon and 2:00pm and making it the biggest meal of the day.
Let Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC know in a week how just this one small change made a huge difference in your body and mind.
