Usui Reiki Ryoho – the Japanese Healing Art/Method that originated in 1922 with Founder USUI Mikao Sensei of Japan. Komyo Reiki System – Hands-on. Nothing More.” A Keep It Simple traditional system of reiki as taught by Buddhist monk INAMOTO Hyakuten Sensei, based on Japanese aesthetics – Less is More.

Learn Reiki (ray-kee) in this traditional apprentice-style training. Class is offered in a beautiful, peaceful setting on a lake in Peabody MA. Includes instruction, discussion, practice, meditation, attunements (reiju,) manual, ongoing mentoring and much more. Learn  the history of Reiki Ryoho, technique for self-reiki and the reiki precepts (gokai) that guide our daily practice.

‘Self-Reiki for Self-Care’ – Self-reiki offers a quick and easy way to relax, improve comfort and increase calm. Self-reiki also can help those wanting to make positive lifestyle changes and or enhance their meditation practice.

What Settings Do You Prefer for Relaxation and Learning?

 

Home much does the environment affect your ability to relax and learn? 
I have offered sessions and trainings in many settings, from hospitals to horse farms. No matter where I am, I feel the work is the same. I wonder though, how much does the space make a difference to the enjoyment and learning experience of students and clients.
What is your favorite setting in which to ‘Relax and Learn?’ This poll only takes a few moments. Your feedback is much appreciated and will determine the location of future classes and sessions.

Photos here are of places where sessions, classes and retreats have been/will be offered. The first photo was taken at the North Shore Medical Center, in the hospital. No matter where I have offered reiki sessions people report “feeling relaxed.” So I wonder, how much do the aesthetics of the setting matter? What are your thoughts?

REIKI TRAINING – Dreamtime Wellness™ Reiki Trainings, 1st Degree/Shoden (Beginning Level) will resume in April.  The answers to this poll may determine ‘where.’ This beginning level of reiki practice is intended for self-care and self-healing. You will also learn to offer reiki on family, friends, and pets. Includes a manual, mentoring, and certificate of completion at the end of 50 hours of training, practical experience and self-study.

CEU’s – Offered to case managers, body workers, massage therapists nurses, and social workers  upon request.

Unfortunately, the holidays are not always a joyful time for everyone. According to one survey by the American Psychological Association (APA), people may experience mixed emotions and increased stress during the holidays.

  • Negative Emotions at the Holidays: Fatigue, Stress, Irritability, Sadness, Feeling Isolated

Increased Stressors at the Holidays May Include:

Fresh Air ~

Are you held up inside most of the day working? Do you eat lunch at your desk or in the lunch room/break room?

Holed up in an office all day you can sometimes forget what time it is. Sometimes the only light that shines on your face is the glare of a computer monitor or florescent lights.
