“My intuition and divine guidance, as well as my ability to see auras since I was a very small child, allow me to perceive many levels of awareness for a person or situation. As a scientist and metaphysician, I love igniting interest, passion and curiosity in people and allowing them to awaken their true potential and divine purpose.”
– Nicole Lahousse

AURA Photography Readings:
Everything in existence has an aura. It is our energetic fingerprint that emanates from our being. Issues present themselves within the auric energy field before they manifest in the physical body, therefore rendering the aura photo very insightful pertaining to one’s physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual states.

It is a fun and exciting way to look deeper into your true nature. Sometimes we can lose track of who we really are. The aura photograph and reading can reconnect us with our inner self and guide us in the right direction for what is going on now as well as coming up in the near future.

Investment: $40 (includes photo and reading)

Coconut Oil ~

Coconut Oil ~

Heat of Summer = Coconut Oil

Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC knows as summer ratchets up the heat index, as it does the fire element (Pitta), in the universe, and in our individual bodies. We all have some amount of the fire element (Pitta), however, usually one or two elements predominate, and if fire is on the top of your list (or your loved ones’), you may notice a few uncomfortable shifts in the summer season.

Signs of high Pitta in the body:
skin rashes, acne, premature graying/balding, heartburn, acid stomach, diarrhea.

Signs of high Pitta in the mind:
irritability (particularly after being exposed to heat or Pitta-provoking circumstances), competitiveness, egoism, envy, quick-to-anger.

Do you see a sign or two of high Pitta in yourself or a loved one? What to do? One thing do to is to give yourself a self massage using organic, cold pressed coconut oil 2 – 3 times per week prior to jumping in the shower. You may also massage into your scalp and hair, wrap in a towel and sleep with it and wash out in the morning. Not only will your hair feel great, but you should notice less burning in the mind and body as well.

After the Fall: A Lesson in Mindfulness

Promoting Optimal Wellness for Mind, Body and Spirit

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Today has me reminiscing about Nor’Easter Riley- derived from ‘Reilly,’ which comes from the Old Irish name Raghailleach.

(Video by Tucker Destino)

‘Sheltering-in-Place’ Nor’Easter Riley brought hurricane-force winds, astronomical tides, record-breaking waves and flooded roads. With flying debris and falling tree limbs, I chose instead to shelter-in-place and watch the 3-day storm unfold on the news and social media. Over the 3 days I watched as people were evacuated to safety, trees fell onto homes and branches through car windshields. Never did I expect during this Nor’Easter that I would end up injured in my own home!

Accidents Often Occur in the Home Despite my efforts to stay home and safe, while home alone I ended up falling down my basement stairs. Late that night my husband was on his way home with a weekend guest. I was distracted and hurrying down the stairs in stocking feet to get my laundry, while talking on the phone with my 90-year old mother. Slipping on the wooden steps as if on ice, my feet flew up in the air. Landing hard on one step, I bounced onto the next, then slid down 2 more, then ultimately the basement floor. My phone and I flew in opposite directions.
